| Notes: Go Genre Everything, ever the band to make an occasion of things, gave all audience members a cardboard brain on a stick. Also provided by one of their friends were real brains on sticks in glasses with some kind of red sauce. Marc, thinking it was some kind of generously concocted desert, took a bite of what he was later informed was a raw lambs brain. For anyone interested, the texture's like banana and the taste was conveniently marred by an efficient consumption of alcohol prior. Later on in the night, a faux-sushi set created by artist Deborah Hall was subject to temporary displacement (which involved a pint of water being poured over displacer's head by the heroic Jen of GGE. It was to be given away to the audience member most deserving of it, however, to this day, remains in the Go Genre Everything control centre. All bands played very well, including Hand Hell whos singer, Kirsty Stegwazi, was unable to sing due to a throat infection. They turned their set into Karaoke, for which Marc sang 'One More Chance' from their album, Phonography. |
